Endless game

ハワイ滞在も１ヶ月超。

いろいろ検討の結果、今週からまたワイキキに戻った。明日には旦那が到着。

相変わらずワイキキは便利。今夜はこちらに来て初めての日本食。居酒屋にいってお好み焼き、枝豆、冷や奴を食べた。やっぱり日本食が一番、私も４０近くになり（２３日に３７になりました！）心底そう思うようになった。

昨日流れたオサマ・ビンラディン殺害、オバマの演説、それらをフェスティバルのように祝う人々のニュース。アメリカ国土にいる身で大声では言えないが、正直私は違和感を感じた。

家族、友人、親戚を９１１のテロで亡くした方の気持ちは測り知れない物がある、だけど、オサマ・ビンラディンを殺すことで解決になるの？新たなる憎しみ、憎悪を産むことになるだけではないの？

と強く思う。

人間はいつになったら学ぶのだろう・・・命の代償は他の誰かのそれで償うことは出来ないのに・・・

We are again back in Waikiki and our stay has now passed 1 month line. Wow, 1 month.  My husband is arriving in Honolulu tomorrow afternoon.  Waikiki is busy as usual, though less than I expected to see being on Golden Week of Japan.  

Tonight we went to a Japanese restaurant for the first time of our stay.  Edamame, tofu and okonomiyaki.   Umm, good.

I pray for a day when people stop shedding blood to compensate for someone else's blood and grief, a vicious cycle.  

Prayers go out for those who lost their loved ones in 911 and also for those who are made to wear colored glasses that they have no means of seeing the world right.

Sincerely pray for peace on the globe.
