海、beach at last!

由比ケ浜, Yuigahama Beach

日曜は思いがけず梅雨の晴れ間。
どこも混むだろうなと予想しながら
朝起きてカーシェアリングをチェック、
幸運にも一番近いステーションのが空いていた
ので、昼から海に出かけた。

途中息子が車酔いで休憩したりしたので
ついたのは午後３時。

海水はまだ冷たく、サーファーたちもスプリングの
ウェット（半袖、半ズボンサイズ）で入っていた。

風も出て来て少し肌寒くなり始めたので浜辺で
遊ぶことに。
近くにウミガメが打ち上げられていてビックリ。
調べたら由比ケ浜に年何回か打ち上げられるらしい。

海の家が立ち上がり始めていて今年の夏も荒れる
のかなー、と嵐の前の静けさの海を満喫。
鎌倉も逗子や鵠沼のように海の家やらないことに
してくれれば砂浜も広がるし、
風紀も戻るのに、、、

私は子どもの頃は材木座海岸にいっていたので、
本当はざわつく由比ケ浜よりあっちに行きたいのだが
駐車場が１つしかなく、たいして停められないから
どうしても鎌倉だと由比ケ浜になってしまう。
市営の大きい駐車場のつくってくれたらなー

ただし、材木座はあまり逗子よりに行き過ぎると
ウィンドサーフィンの人が多くいて
サーフィンはしにくい。

久々に材木座いきたいなー

真夏は今年も鵠沼にいくことになるだろうな。

帰りにお山の実家に寄ろうと思ったら
父の、調子悪いから遠慮してくれ、というにべない答え。
おかげで朝比奈は渋滞ピークの時間。
避けるべく逗子を回ったが逗子も大渋滞。
しまいにナビ入れてるにも関わらず、
逗子IC通り越して山登っちゃって家族で失笑。

帰りに返品があるIKEAに寄り夕飯を簡単に済ませ帰宅。

曇ってたけど、やっぱり海はよかった

It was sunny Sunday and we went to Yuigahama Beach.

Luckily our closest car sharing station had a vacancy
and we were able to set out around noon.
Koki got car sick and we stopped by in about a half way
to the beach, so by the time we got there it was already 3pm.

Wind was starting to chill and the water was still bit cold,
so we played on sand. Still lots of fun.
We found a sea turtle on the sand, surprised.

We wanted to stop by at my parents house on a way back
but as I called my father, he said he doesn't feel well
and it was better if we came some other time.
So we headed home, but got stuck in a major traffic.

I guess everybody used best of this rare sunny Sunday.

We got out of the traffic and it started raining.
We stopped by at IKEA to return an item and had a
light dinner at their cafe as it was already 6:30PM.

Koki has a new surf shorts and all ready to go back
to the beach. We are so looking forward to our next
journey.
