Apple TV

東京は梅雨本番とばかりに連日、雨・雨・雨ですねー
ま、梅雨まっただ中だからしょうがないのか。
冷夏の噂も聞きますが、涼しいのもいいな、と思い
ながら、日差しが少ないのは寂しい気も。

土曜日は近場でうろつき、TSUTAYAで
ベン・スティラーの

「LIFE!」（原題: The Secret Life of Walter Mitty）

を借りて来てリビングでゴロゴロしながら観た。 

NYの街並が見られるのと、突然グリーンランドや
アイスランドなどの圧倒的な風景が見られるのが
なかなかよかった。 
その後、先週録画していた

アベンジャーズ

を息子が見たがるので、
予定外の映画二本立ての土曜日になった。

ずーっと欲しいな、と思っていたApple TVを
とうとう昨日購入！

iPadからもMacbook Airからも飛ばせるし、
Apple TV自体からもYouTubeなどをテレビ画面に
飛ばせるので便利！
これでiPadの小さい画面で映像を見せる必要も
なくなるので、
息子の視力対策にも一躍買うはず。

気づいたらアップル製品に席巻されている我が家、、、

でも、iPhoneだけはバカ高すぎるので先月卒業し、
安価な海外版モデルのXperiaを使い出した。
卒業してみて実感するiPhoneの使いやすさ。

アップルってうまいよなー

今年の夏は伊豆旅行予定してます。
前から行ってみたかった多々浜か吉佐美あたり。
８月末かなー
とかいっているうちに宿が塞がりそう、、、
バケーションレンタルもいいかな、と連日ネット検索中。

検索中に見つけたサーフマット。

これならブギボーより軽そうだし、危なくないし、
息子と並んで乗れそうだし、
なんといっても持ち運びがすっごい楽そう！ 

欲しい。

夏が待ち遠しいっ！！

It rains day after day, especially past one week
from last Tuesday, it rained everyday.
We should expect at least 2 to 3 more weeks
with weather like this and then we will enter
into hot, humid summer,
though they say it maybe a chilly summer this
year,
which is kind of nice being able to get away
from hot, humid air trapped inside Tokyo
buildings everyday, 
but at the same time, it will be regretful to 
not being able to see a bright summer sun
and sky.

Especially now that we are planning our surf trip
down south to Izu at end of this summer,
we will need lots of sun and blue sky.

I have been net surfing to find a good place to
stay that serves minimum service (we are not
picky about accommodation service) but good
food since Izu faces Pacific Ocean and is known
for quality seafood, but it is hard to find a
good balance and I am starting to look into 
vacation rentals which provide better facility.

Izu is a popular travel destination and there are
lots of local restaurants, so at the end it maybe
better to separate food and accommodation.
(We can go to a local fish market if we really 
wanted to eat fresh, quality seafood.)

Through a trip search, I found a surf mat which
looks safe, fun, easy to carry, perfect for me and
Koki, and with a rental car (limited space, no
roof top carrier allowed).

Maybe we'll buy one of these for our Izu trip.

We bought Apple TV for Koki to watch YouTube
and other videos safely on screen.
iPad screen is too small for him, it hurts his eyes,
so we stopped letting him use iPad after he got
hooked on it.

On Saturday, we went to a video store to rent
a movie and we rented,
"The Secret Life of Walter Mitty" by Ben Stiller
which was pretty good.

Now we have Apple TV, we only need to sign up
with Hulu again to watch movies now (finally,,,).
No need to worry about returning a Blueray or
DVD on time.

I look around and realize we are conquered by
Apple, until I bought my first Macbook Air few years
ago, we were Apple free, but now, everything Apple.

Oh well, except, we graduated from iPhones last month
because they cost ridiculously expensive nowdays
(almost 1,000USD).
Toru found a Sony Android phone on internet which is
probably one third or less of iPhone (a Hong Kong
model).

We are soooo looking forward to our summer break now.
