Halloween Weekend, already...

気づいたらすっかりハロウィンが定着した日本。

１週間早いけど、すでにtrick or treatをそこここで

開催している様子で、

すぐそこのひなびた商店街でもお菓子を配るらしく

昔の保育園の友達３人＋その兄弟たちと息子も

並んでお菓子をもらった。

本場アメリカは親もバッチリ仮装するが、

日本は子供だけ。

ハロウィン当日に盛り場（？）のクラブにでも

行けばわんさか若人＋外人の仮装はいるのだろうけど

子持ちはそこに繰り出せないし、ね。

仮装好きの私は猫耳付けたくらいでおさめたせいで

かなり不完全燃焼．．．

アメリカにいた時、GOGOガールの格好して

ハリウッドの大騒ぎにいった時は楽しかったな〜 

ハロウィンが過ぎたら次は七五三。

旦那が着た羽織袴を旦那のお母さんが持って来てくれた

のでそれを着せる予定。

といっても、肩上げ・腰上げから着付けまで全て近所の

呉服屋さんにお願いしてしまうつもり．．．

自分でやろうといろいろネットサーチしたけど、

頭がこんがらがってギブアップ。

来週末はもう１１月か〜

年賀状考えなきゃ。

Tokyo celebrated a week early Halloween this weekend

here and there. 

We were no exception. Koki went out to a neighbor shopping 

street and lined up for a trick or treating and got some

sweets and snacks.

We Japanese love to party whatever the theme is.

Halloween became very very popular and we now see it

everywhere.

I curved a small Jacko lantern for Koki as he wanted it.

After the Halloween comes Shichigosan, a 7 (shichi) 5 (go)

3 (san) celebration. Girls celebrate at age 3 and 7 and boys

celebrate at age 5, Koki is 5 so we'll celebrate it this year.

He is going to wear a hakama and haori, a special set of 

clothes for boys celebration, Toru wore when 

he was little.
