明日は雪？, snow tomorrow?

 

明日は朝方から雪になるらしい。

降ったら息子はお休みかな。

自転車で里山まではおくれないし。

今日朝日新聞朝刊の社説が興味深かった。

政治に興味がない日本人だが、草の根で今後の

日本を考える会を開いている人もいるようで、

またいろいろな地方都市では抽選で選ばれた

市民が話あって公共施設の仕分けをしたりする

ような活動をしているところもあるようだ。

特定機密保護法が一番記憶に新しいが、
おかしいとは分かっているけれど、どこから
どう働きかけるべきなのかが分からない。
自分の住む地域の行政もそう。
面倒だけど、もっといろいろと知って、関わって
いくべきなんだろうな、と思う。

子供のことも、なのかな。

今日、息子が保育園に龍が来た、と言うので、
どんなの？と聞いたら、
大きな龍でお母さん達が作ったみたい、と言った。
全く知らなかったが、お母さん達がいつだか集まって
作ったのだろうか。
小さな保育園でこじんまり、助け合いがモットー。
だからうちも入れてもらえたのだが、
これまで私は、

東京戻るまでの一時的だし、
週３日だし、
仕事してるし、
お金はきちんと納めてるし、

というスタンスで、幼稚園に入る前、東京で息子が通って
いた保育園と同様（この保育園はほぼ100％預けている
親が共働きだった）、ドライにやって来たが、
ふ、とそうゆう人がこうゆうこじんまり・相互助の
保育園を選んではいけないのかなあ、
と思った。

おそらく全体の和みたいなものを乱す、というか。

でも、おそらく今はもうすでに私は「そうゆう人」という
ラベリングになっているだろうから期待されていないと
推察し、
ある意味私の鈍感力勝ち？だったのか？

子供たちのために龍を作ってくださったお母さん達に
心の中で合掌してしまった。
都内に戻ったらそうゆう自分に合う非参加型の幼稚園に
また息子が戻るので、
どうにかお礼を言ったりして、今の保育園はやはり
やりすごさせていただこうと思う
（余すところ１、２ヶ月くらいだし。。。）。

勝手で、非協力的で すみません。。。

仕事のように分かりやすい利害を介しない場面での、
社会との関わり方って難しいですね〜

They say the temperature is going to drop very low
early in the morning and 
and snow will fall tomorrow morning.
Toru left for work at 8PM tonight and if it snows, I
need to go pick him up at the station in the morning.

I finalized our VE and we decided to go with IKEA
kitchen (artificial marble stone work top and either
coated white melamine coated wood panels, or
black wood panels).
Kitchen furniture by Japanese makers have attractive
functions but their designs are too plane and boring.
This is why we chose IKEA. Their design is not the
greatest, yet better than those by Japanese makers.
Of course, if money was not an issue, I am sure
there are Japanese maker who make beautiful kitchen
furniture.

A gas range (top) and a gas oven, we'll order online
(HARMAN, a Japanese maker).
Bath system (all in one) either TOTO (the biggest
Japanese brand) or INAX depending on the price
the builder gives us.
Toilette system (1st and 2nd floor) probably Panasonic
(yes, an electronic appliance company; they also make
bath tubs and toilette and many other things), we'll
order online. We want tank-free system to
save us room in both rooms.
Bathroom heater (yes, winter in Tokyo is very cold),
an optional, but maybe we can wait
to install till later (around 450 USD).

Our budget is very tight, so we'll probably add and drop
things as we go, but our architect is going to negotiate
with a builder to include as much as he can.

We gave up on having an open string staircase (the type
that has space between stair cases to let light come through)
due to restrictions from earthquake resistant construction
and also the budget (in other words, it is expensive to install
an open string staircase which is earthquake resitatnt).

Instead, we decided to put a big window on a wall facing south
and change a wooden living room door to a acrylic opaque door
to let light in.

We'll meet with our architect this weekend and then will meet
with an IKEA kitchen consultant next next Saturday.
