一番最初に設計士さんからもらった模型が
載っているのを見て、
あー、随分遠くに来たもんダ
と痛感。
あれから家の図面も外観もみるみる内に変わり、
今となればあの模型とは様相がかなり違う。
個人的にはあの模型のミニマルデザインが好き
だったのだが、
そこは現実的な旦那のおかげで、
かなり今のレイアウトはデザイン性は落ち、
ミニマルさは微塵もないが、
収納性・機能性はかなりアップしたと思う。
３階北側の大きなベランダ＆真ん中の洗濯室は
私としてはかなりの魅力だったのだけど、
北側ベランダでは洗濯物が乾かない、
ベランダにするなら部屋広くしたほうが良い、
収納が少なすぎる、
などの意見により全てカット．．．（涙）
まあ、しょうがないか、狭い土地の狭い家だし、
収納はないと困るものね．．．
デザインより実用性。
そして今は、
構造計算も終わり、建築確認も取れ、今は細かい予算調整、
キッチンやトイレなどの仕様決定段階。
キッチンと１階の洗面は最初はデザインと価格重視でIKEA！
と思っていたが、ネットでかなり酷評が多く（品質面）、
水回りに不安が残るし、品質保証などを考慮し、
日本メーカーに傾きつつある。
日本の物づくりは定評がありますからね〜
あとは価格次第かな。
洗面台はおそらく大工さんの造作になるので、
高さも自由に設定できそう。
洗面横収納はそれこそIKEAで買って自分で組み立てで充分。
キッチンやトイレ等の価格だが、
日本のこの悪しき産業構造により、メーカーショールームで
「これにした！」
と決めても定価しか分からず、一体実際いくらでその商品を
導入できるのかは施工をお願いする工務店に聞かないと
分からないという。
要は仕入れ値にいくら工務店が自分の利益を載せるか、だ。
まあ、仕入れ値も取引先によって掛け率が違うだろうし、
その辺は消費者には分からないけど。
とはいえ、このご時世ネットで調べれば底値が分かってしまう。
だけれど、あまり「ネットでいくらでしたよ」を乱発すると
工務店がスネルらしく、避けて欲しいらしい。
なんかちょっと、時代錯誤じゃない？
一応２月には工事着工の予定なので、
その前に地鎮祭と地盤改良かと思う。
まずは工事契約、か。
今週末またIKEAのキッチンコンサル予約を入れている。
最悪価格が折り合わなければ、IKEAの一番安いキッチン、かな。。。
I was looking back on my old blogs and found
a photo of
a house mock-up, the first floor plan from our
architect and I thought, we have come a long way.
Our house looks different from the mock up in many ways
now. We have massaged the floor plan so much, so many
times to pursue functionality and living comfort.
Our current floor plan must be 10th or so and it was
finally submitted for a final proof from the government
and now it is ready to be built.
Of course, we will probably have minor changes still, but
on a big picture, no more. After the plan passes the
construction test by the government, we can't move a
pillar or a big wall.
First floor toilette is in a bathroom, so it has to be a
small tank toilette but one on second floor is in a small
individual room, so it can be inexpensive bulky type.
Kitchen, we are giving a second thought to IKEA kitchen.
Evaluation on internet is rather low, for its cheap quality,
especially around a sink.
Since we won't be installing a dish washing machine
(no budget...) and I'll be cooking at least 5 days out of 1
week (or possibly more),
I'll be using sink heavily for not only washing dishes and
veges but also pouring out a boiled water etc.
However, IKEA has its low evaluation points mostly on
its sink system (besides cumbersome drawer system etc.)
and we can't manage to have such system.
Even IKEA personnel confided that they received many
complaints about their plumbing system in the past
(many of which were that if you poured out a pan of water
into a sink or if you rinse a pile of dishes at a time,
quickly a sink becomes a pool which makes you
stand there and wait for a few minutes for the water
to drain) and
recommended that we buy a Japanese maker one and
install ourselves.
Installing a plumbing system ourselves is not an option
for us (and many Japanese I think, Japan is not really a
DIY country), so I went back to see a Japanese kitchen
maker once again and requested a quote.
We plan to finally start the construction from February,
but before that we must set up a day to do a Jichinsai
which is a ceremony to purify the land by a shrine priest.
