運動会, a sports festival

 

今年の秋は雨が多いですね。
今週も台風が来るそうです。
昨日は天気は辛うじて持ち堪えたものの、気温が上がらない中
朝からお弁当を持って運動会。
息子はかけっこで一番。嬉しそうにしていた。
帰りにIKEAに行き、子供部屋やキッチンを何度目かに見た後、
カフェエリアに行き隣接するプレイエリアで息子を遊ばせながら
旦那とあれこれ考えてみたが．．．

やはり子供部屋４畳はなきゃ狭いよな．．．

先々週もう一度家のレイアウトを引き直してもらったものの、
まだしっくりこず、今日午後に打ち合わせ。
いつになったら家が建つのだろう、と不安になるが、でも一生
そこに住むわけだから妥協もするべきではない、と思う。

息子と私は明日から私の実家に一週間お泊まりの予定。
紅葉が始まりつつあるのかは不明だが、ひとまず秋の鎌倉を
堪能してきまーす

Koki competed with his friends under a cloudy cold autumn
sky yesterday, a sports day.
He was the fastest in a short truck race.
We had lunch in a chilly weather and 3 more competitons
and it was a wrap.
Frozen head to toe but kids enjoyed.

Then we headed off to IKEA to check a kid's room space
and kitchennette for ?th time.
We asked for another floor plan to an architect but it
looks anyhow not appropriate, but cannot think of a good
one either. We've been looking at it for such  a long time
that we are burnt out on ideas almost.

We are off to see the architect this afternoon.
Then from tomorrow Koki and I will be staying at my parents'
house for 1 week.
