カブトムシ、a beetle

先々週から義妹家族が香港から帰国していてにぎやか。
週末には義弟家族も久々に来て久々に揃い庭でBBQ。
庭があるとBBQが出来るのがいいですね〜

近くの里山に従弟と出かけた息子がつかまえてきたカブトムシ。
しばらく狭い虫かごで飼っていたが可哀想になり先日里山に
返しに行って来た。
息子がバッタもカブトムシも余裕で掴めるようになっていて
驚き。しばらく前は私につかまえさせていたのに。
野生児になりつつある息子であった。

お盆休みは特にどこにもいかず
海にいきまくった。１週間に３回！
我が地元の海が荒れまくっていて（風紀も
ごみも）悲しくなった。。。
ので、最後の２回は鵠沼海岸にいった。
海の家の規制が入り始め、江ノ島、逗子は
音楽、海の家を減らしたらしい。
その皺寄せか。

そして、最後の１回では少しだけ波のりも出来た。
久々すぎて怖じ気づき沖にパドルできず、手前でチョロチョロ
小さいのに乗ったけど、そりゃもう楽しかった！

９月に入ると規制が外れるし、涼しくなるし、空くし、またいきたいな。

Sister in law family is here from Hong Kong and Koki is having
fun with his cousin.
Last weekend brother in law family came over and we all had
BBQ dinner together.
It's been a while since we all gathered around.

Heat here in Tokyo is finally subsiding after last night rain and
today's temperature is around 29C during the day.

We went to release a beetle which Koki and cousing caught in a
nearby valley. He was in a small insect box for 4 days then we
decided that he is unhappy therefore we put him back to his
belonging.

I am surprised to see Koki being able to touch and catch insects.
He used to ask me to catch them when we were in Tokyo.
This natural surrounding is doing Koki some good.

During our one week summer holiday (called Obon), we did not
travel anywhere but went to the beach 3times a week.
On the last occassion, I was able to surf a bit with Toru's board.
Small choppy surf but still fun.

I would like to go back again in September when the restriction is
over and there are less people.
