Winter is back...

カワヅ桜は散り春本番！
と期待させるも
一転真冬に後戻り、、
これぞ日本の冬ですねぇ。

冷たい雨の中、ほぼ日課の
朝散歩に出かけ、
買い物の前のひとやすみ。
今朝は天気のせいか、
息子がバギーでグッスリ。
おかげで、
コーヒーとジャズでゆっくり。

一昨日学童保育の説明会にでかけたが、
なーんとなく施設に入った瞬間から、

息子がそこに毎日通うことが全く想像

できず、

 (そうゆう感覚は結構大事)
一通り説明を聞いてもなぜだか
イメージが湧かず、
その後配られた父母会の資料に
ざっと目を通し、
これはいかん、
と即退散してきた。

あくまで私の個人的意見だと
前置きをして書くが、
学童保育自体は素晴らしい
システムだと思うが、
それに付随する父母会てやつが
私は個人的に理解不可能。

働いてるから学童保育に入れる
のに、なぜ親が土日を潰して
運営しなければならないのか、、、

単純に運営する人材を学童が雇って、

費用に上乗せれば済むのでは？
おそらく共働きの親なら
その費用をかぶるのは厭わない
人が多いと想像する。
負担がきつい、という低所得層分は、
それ以外で分配負担すれば良いと思う。

（うちも余裕がたくさんあるわけでは

ないが、その負担が軽くなるなら

捻出するつもりはある）

他には、
夜の部と呼ばれる飲み会らしきものが

年間スケジュールに何回も組み込まれていたり、
イベント参加時に半ば強制で着る揃いの

Tシャツとかも理解不可能。

ネットで見ても学童のシステムは
賛否両論のようだが、
うちは旦那も私も仕事以外の時間は宝なので
学童保育は辞退し、
私の仕事をどうにか融通し、
近くに出来た民間の
英語学童に週2で入れることにした。

費用的には区の学童の何倍とする
が、親の負担がいっさいないし、
預かり時間も長いし、
必要なら送り迎えもしてくれるし、
英語も学べるし
必要経費とみなした。

時は金なり、だからね、ほんと。

あとはうちの区は児童館の預かりが
あるから、新しい生活になれて
きたら、そちらも合わせて登録して

使おうと思ってる。
(こっちは父母会がないことを祈る)

3月は下の子の保育園の説明会
や健康診断、
上の子の卒園式にと
なんだかんだとバタバタ。
まだ月始めなのに疲れピークで
でっかい口内炎と偏頭痛に
襲われるわたし、、、

せめて天気よくなーれ！
早く暖かくなれー！

Warm days made me happy and
my feet lighter to go out
then suddenly cold rain this
morning making me sad.

aftet dropping off Koki at his bus
pickup, I went for our regular walk
to a nearby park with Hiroto.
Kawazu Zakura petals on the ground,
spring is nearing for sure, after
each rain, a hope.

It turns out that Kokis after school
program comes with a mandatory
parents volunteering to operate the
services on weekends.... no, no,
I said to myself
and left the gathering immediately.

Both Toru and I want to spend
our days off with our kids,
not with other parents.
I purely wonder, why they dont
change this system.

I (and I believe many other working
parents) would prefer paying extra
cash to the program so that
they hire necessary resources to
operate the program rather than
spending my (their) own precious spare
time on it.

I swiftly made a decision to put
Koki in a private, bilingual after school
program closer from our house.

This schedule requires me to decrease

my work hours at office in April

until Koki's school schedule goes full

time mode, plus of course the fee is 

much higher than the
public after school program, 

but both Toru and I felt it is worth spending

if we can save our weekend time to be
spent with our children.

Tomorrow and Monday, I must
go to Hiroto's nursery school
for his health checkup and
to go through the facility and
meet the care taker.

March is so busy with all those
events for starting a new life
plus Koki's graduation next wk.

Im already tired from running
around between my wfh work
plus looking after 2 boys plus
house chores...
I constantly have a headache
and now a huge canker sore...
