遠征 - a trip to Jindaiji

明日の神話　Myth of Tomorrow, Taro Okamoto

息子を連れ、横浜に住む友達と渋谷で待ち合わせをし、大学時代の友達のお家に遊びにいってきた。
渋谷から明大前で乗り換え、京王線で少しいった閑静な住宅街の一戸建て。都心のマンションに住む私たちとは違った生活。ちょっと買い物に出たりできないし、通勤はちょっとかかるよ、と友達は言っていたけど、子供を中心に考えたら好ましい環境。もちろん車も持てるし。
もうすぐ１０ヶ月になる息子のりゅうちゃんは駅前にある認証保育園に生後４ヶ月から預け仕事復帰。彼女は正社員だから時短が３歳まで適用され、３時に毎日終業。
やっぱり継続は力なりだなーと今更ながら納得。（今更遅いけど・・・）

横浜に住む友達は今妊娠８ヶ月。これから出産とあって、いろいろ聞いたりしていた。
出産武勇伝（かなり盛り上がる）、保育園、などなど大盛り上がりであっという間の昼下がりだった。

見回せば私の周りもだんだんとママに。
いい加減そんな歳なのだから当たり前なんだけど、なんとなく集まると時間が学生時代に戻って、ふ、と現実に返ると「不思議だねー、親になったんだよね」となる。

次は地震の直後に出産した友達も含め、また集まりたいなー。

余談。渋谷のコンコースにある岡本太郎「明日の神話」。
以前まだ美術館に展示してあった頃に２度見に行ったことがあり、その後ここに永久展示が決まったと聞き、見に来たいと思いながらわざわざ行く機会もなかった。
美術館で見たより周りが開放的、前を忙しなく人が行き来する活気と相まって、迫力があった。太郎の作品はやっぱりパワーがすごい。

夜は息子初もんじゃ

Koki rode 4 trains, made 3 transit to visit my friend and her 10 month baby who live just outside central Tokyo.
They bought a 2 story house 3 years ago and it still looked quite new with smell of new built house. My friend came to pick us up from a nearest station and from there she drove about 10 minutes to the house.
The area was a residential and had many houses but only a few condos.
Very different from where we live, which is right in center of central Tokyo.

There was another friend of mine and she is 8 months pregnant. Next time we go see her baby at her house probably.  It is always so much fun and dearing to chat with my friends.

Few years back Tomorrow's Myth (a wall painting originally created for a hotel in Mexico by Taro Okamoto. Later found in a garbage and brought back to Japan) finally found its last resting place in a concourse of Shibuya station.  I went to see this painting twice when it was exhibited at a museum and have been meaning to come see it again at Shibuya station.
Luckily the concourse is located between 2 train stations we made transit, so Koki and I sat down against a window and observed the art for few minutes (Koki was looking outside a window wathinc a famous Shibuya cross).
